PATH TO THE SOUL

<p>Dr. June Singer Memorial Lecture Ashok Bedi, M.D. Path to the Soul Attending to the Whispers of our Soul In first half of life, we must establish our ground to survive in the outer world. In the second half of life, our soul beckons us to attend to our Dharma or Purpose in this lifetime. Participants would be introduced to the integrative Hindu and Jungian perspective on establishing their path to their soul, by decoding the symbols of our soul that incarnate in our life. These symbols manifest as dreams, fantasies, complexes, synchronistic events, accidents, relationship tangles, and creative outputs, medical and psychiatric symptoms. All these incarnations of the soul carry a potential symbol. These symbols have the potential to renew and rekindle the vitality and purposefulness of our life. Methods to decode and honor these soul symbols will be explored using case vignettes and film clips.
The Latent Code to awaken the Slumbering Goddess

<p>Presentation at the ATP October 16, 23 &amp; October 30, 2007 5.30 – 8.30pm The Latent Code to awaken the Slumbering Goddess By Ashok Bedi, M.D. We all live a manifest outer life. Embedded in the psyche of each individual is a hidden, potential life, aligned to our purpose and true calling. This potential life is orchestrated by a latent code of our Self which is unique to each individual. The latent code is orchestrated by the Self, derives from the substrate of the archetypes, and is implemented by our ego consciousness. When the ego, the Self and the archetypes work in symphony, new symbols guide our life onto a vital, creative and purposeful trajectory. This presentation will explore role of the Hindu Goddess archetypes in our individuation process at the different developmental stages of adult life. Clinical vignettes will illustrate the working of the latent code of the goddess archetypes and its dance with the archetype of the Self. Learning Objectives 1. Explore the dynamics of the Goddess archetypes activation in incarnation of the Self 2. Present the analytical management of the activated archetype to attend to the Ego/Self axis 3. Discuss the Hindu Goddess archetypes from a developmental perspective of the Self incarnation 4. Formulate the archetypes of Saraswati, Laxmi, Shakti, Kali, and Aditi as the impact the incarnation of the Self in our individuation process 5.</p>
