Kundalini Yoga A Synapse of the Body, Mind, Soul & the Spirit By Ashok Bedi, M.D. Individuation is the process of the integration of the opposites in our Psyche at successively higher thresholds of our potential under the auspices of the guiding wisdom of our soul (Self). In the Hindu roadmap of individuation, we must attend to the four tasks of the Psyche or Chaturvarga, including Artha (Wealth & Security), Kama (Eros & relationships), Dharma (Spiritual purpose) and Moksha (Freedom from the opposites in the Psyche). To attend to these tasks, me must engage the body, mind, soul and align it with the intentions of the Spirit or Brahamna at the seven levels of integration. The practice of Yoga in general and the Kundalini Yoga in particular is an ancient template to attend to the Magnum Opus of our individuation process from an Eastern/Hindu perspective. The theory and practice of the Kundalini Yoga will be discussed using clinical vignettes and movie clips. OPEN TO INVITED ANALYTIC TRAINEES ONLY
